GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS

All submissions should comply with the following guidelines:

1. They should be typed clearly on the one side of the paper with adequate margins on all sides.
2. Authors should submit soft copy of the article in MS-WORD format (Times New Roman Fonts) addressed to the Editor, TKM IJRM (E-mail: .in).
3. Inquiries regarding the journal should be addressed to the Editor, TKM IJRM, TKM Institute of Management, Musaliar Hills, Karuvelil, Kollam 691 505, Kerala, India (www.tkmim.ac.in).
4. Authors are required to include a cover page indicating the name(s), affiliation, address, contact numbers and email addresses. To ensure the integrity of the peer review process, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors and reviewers from being known to each other. As such identity of the author should be provided only on the cover page. Authors should make every effort to ensure that the manuscript contains no clues to their identities.

5. Manuscript format:
a. Title: The title should be concise and should be on a separate sheet and include the author’s name/s, affiliation, address, telephone number and e-mail ID.
b. Abstract: An abstract of no more than 150 words, should precede the text of the paper.
c. Key words: A minimum of three and maximum of key words should be provided.
d. Acknowledgements: These, if any, should be brief and supplied on a separate page.
e. British spellings are preferred thorough out the text of the manuscript.
f. Use of numerals: One to nine in words, 10 and above in figures, unless the reference to tables in the text.
g. The text size of equations should be similar to normal text size. The formula should be placed center justified with serial number on the right. For example:
A = [(1+b)/x] 1/2 (1)
h. Tables and Figures should be provided at the appropriate place within the text and not at the end of the text. Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Place a table’s caption above the table’s body and its description (if required) below the body. Avoid vertical rules. Be sparing in the use of tables and ensure that the data presented in tables do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article.
i. Endnotes should be kept to the minimum.
j. Capitalization should be kept to the minimum and should be consistent.
k. Double quotes should be used if required and single quotes should be restricted for use within double quotes.

l. References: The American Psychological Association (APA) style will be adopted for purposes of referencing (author’s name, date of publication in parentheses in the text) and all citations should be listed alphabetically by author after the body of the text. The following examples illustrate the referencing format:
i. Authored book: Aravind. (2020). Principles of Financial Management: Practice and Decisions, New Delhi: Viva Books Pvt. Ltd.

ii.Journal article: Aravind, M., Nayar, J. (2020). Integration of Oil with Macroeconomic Indicators and policy challenges in regard to Oman. International Journal of Energy Sector Management, 14 (1), 172-192.

iii. Website: References to websites should indicate the date on which the website is accessed (i.e. accessed 10 June 2015).

m. Use of Italics should be kept to a minimum.
n. Republication of papers published in the journal would require the Editor’s clearance.
o. An Author will receive a complimentary copy of the issue in which his/her paper appears.
Review process
Each paper will be blind-reviewed by two editors. Papers will fall into one of the following categories:
1. Accept
2. Accept with minimum changes
3. Revise and resubmit
4. Reject (not in compliance with the line of the Review of Economic and Business Studies)
Time to review: 4-6 weeks.
